Chips verses popcorn

I thought of doing a Halloween theme since Halloween falls on this upcoming Monday, but I couldn't pick just one topic to write about so this is what you get: A chips VS popcorn debate. (I might do a fall decor post, but we'll have to wait and see).
In Geography class, before the teacher began teaching, I overheard two students debating whether chips are better than popcorn with the teacher giving their opinions every so often. So this is me giving my opinion on the matter. I think popcorn is superior. Here is my reasoning:
First point: Chips cause your hands to get greasy, no matter what style or favour you pick out. Greasy fingers are a downside to eating chips and that's a fact.
Second point: Chips can be crushed easier than popcorn, leaving you with crumbs at the bottom and no one likes crumbs when they expect full-size chips. To that, I would also like to argue that popcorn bags have more quantity than chip bags, which is a plus to popcorn.
Third point: Popcorn is quieter to eat. With chips, they're always so crunchy and loud- that's just the way they are designed. But popcorn is much quieter, so they are ideal for movie nights.
Fourth point: Depending on the type of popcorn you buy, it has fewer calories than other chip brands. I could pig out on popcorn and justify it by saying "It's healthy though" and still feel good in the morning about eating a whole bag the night before. It just works.
Lastly, popcorn just tastes better somehow. I know that depends on who you are, but still.

Anyway, thanks for reading this post and let me know which one is your favourite by commenting down below.

Legacy

The words "your deeds are your monuments" were inscribed on an Egyptian tomb. This quote got me thinking about the word legacy.

A legacy is something (as memories or knowledge) that comes from the past or a person you knew or know currently. Someone said that legacy is like planting a seed in a garden you never get to see. I love this quote for many reasons. One, it's beautiful. Two, it's terrific poetry. Three, it's accurate. I am most familiar with looking at legacy like you're leaving footprints along a beach. I think that lots of folks don't care about their legacy. They don't care about the legacy they'll leave behind and how people will remember them. I admire this but I also dislike it. I admire it because, in a way, they don't care and are just reckless. They act like fools and they don't seem worried about what others think. But I also dislike this because they are reckless, fools, and don't care. Where I think I care a little too much.

Random thoughts

When I do something daily, I will stop and imagine myself as a sloth. Hear me out. If I was a sloth, time would still move as fast as it always does and I would be, of course, slower at doing my tasks. So my thought process would look like this: "..If I was a sloth...would I be at school or just getting dressed? Or would I still be getting out of bed......?" Now, you may be thinking, "How did you even think of such a thing??" I'll tell you. In the movie Zootopia, Nick and Judy go to the DMV and encounter the sloths who work there. I guess when I watched this as a kid, I thought to myself, "If someone ended up typing in the code alongside Flash, what parts would Flash have completed by the time that person finished?", or something along those lines. And I guess this thought just stuck with me in the back of my mind.

Another thought I constantly have happens during a long car ride. I picture a 2D figure on a bike, biking alongside the car. The figure never slows down and never speeds up. Just keeps biking in time with the vehicle. I always imagine a rope connecting this figure to the side of my family's car- almost like they were water skiing. Since this figure is 2D, I imagined they would jump over anything that got in their path and would not fall. If I imagined they fell off their bike, they would reset like a video game character. Before you ask, I don't know why I think of this and I don't know when I started thinking about this. I do, however, like to think that this 2D character is trying to get to their own destination, but they are just stuck in a time loop, biking alongside my family's car.

Those are my two crazy thoughts. I hope you enjoyed reading whatever this post was. :)
