Little Poems for a January Night

Guys, I'm on a poetry kick so here you go. 🙃 

Buttons, jellybeans
and all these little things
that I keep in my pocket
until they override their stay
I lock them in the bottom drawer
until they exit out my brain

As random as snow globes, dice, and buttons
Every Tuesday or Thursday

little bag of buttons and string
makes me wait for what life can bring
