Finding Dory

Finding Dory is my new favorite disney movie and I have no idea why. I also loved Finding Nemo more growing up. But now...Dory. My absolute favorite fish in the ocean.
There were some points in the movie where I was this close to crying.
Here they are: When Marlin told Dory that forgetting is what she does best near the beginning. When Dory finally found her family and she started apologizing for her disability and how she was sorry that she forgot about them. When Hank and her had to say goodbye at the open ocean exhibit. When Hank told her that her memory wasn't working and that's why she lost her family in the first place. Then when Hank had a panic attack in the touch pool. When Dory reunited with Nemo and Marlin in the pipes.

I'm also in love with the animation. Hank, especially. The characters are well rounded and not at all flat. Also, the plot was very fast-paced and straightforward at the same time. Dory just got more likeable for me. Hank is my new favorite character.

Yeah, those are my thoughts on Finding Dory.🐟🐠

✧JOURNALS!!✧

Here's some advice for you, dear reader and viewer:
GET A JOURNAL.
WRITE IN SAID JOURNAL.
GET ANOTHER JOURNAL.
DON'T TELL ANYONE ABOUT YOUR JOURNALS.
GET MORE JOURNALS.
KEEP WRITING.

I think everyone should keep a journal and try to write in it from time to time. I'm just starting to journal and it's refreshing. Trying to write something everyday is wonderful practice. Writing everything down is a great way to analyze small things I think/feel everyday. It's free therapy and no one has to know. I would love to have a journal that is filled with inky gel. I kinda have two journals...this blog and my paper journal?

BOOK TALK- SOLITAIRE by Alice Oseman

It's that time of year again- reading a whole book in two days flat because it's summertime and books are books!! And books were made for consuming and re-reading! And let's be honest, what else am I going to do this summer? I finished Solitaire by Alice Oseman this morning and it's one of my top favorites so far. Seemed like dark academia with humor and blog mentions (the main character had a blog (yay!) and was a bit of a pessimist) with a love story that didn't feel forced and Tori Spring's family dynamics were a good backdrop to the plot. Yes, it's a bit slow at first but it picks up, it really does. Could not put it down. Definitely gonna purchase it. I would happily read it again. 9/10 stars 📚📚⭐⭐ (photo is not mine!)

Lime popsicles

The first time I had a lime popsicle was last wednesday and I was wearing a raincoat at a softball game. It was shiny light green and tasted like greatness. It was refreshing and cold. I didn't really have popsicles much growing up (at least not often. I don't know what I'm talking about). I had it around the same time I started (I think) reading Solitaire by Alice Oseman. Around that time anyway and the lime popsicle tasted like how the book feels? like they have the same vibes? The book has the same vibes as a lime popsicle. My new favorite popsicle flavor is lime, that's what I'm trying to say
